Salmy Kennel - Boarding

Boarding is available during the Summer months and for Holidays.

Clean air conditioned and heated kennel runs for comfort.

The dogs are walked daily and are let out into the exercise area daily.

Directions from I-81 - it’s about an hour off I-81 to Salmy Acres Kennel.

From I-66 go south on I-81 and take the 2nd Strasburg exit # 296 Go west on Route 55. You will come to the small town of Wardensville about 20 miles off 81. Follow through Wardensville. After passing thru Wardensville you will go straight up the mountain onto the new highway. It’s NEW ROUTE 55. Follow 7 miles to Baker exit. Take the ramp to Baker and turn left onto OLD 55 and 259. Follow OLD 55. Pass thru Baker (you will see a BP gas station/store on the left. Continue straight on old 55 for about 3 miles past the BP store. Turn right on Needmore Rd (county road 8) If you see the Broken Spoke Grill on the right you just passed Needmore. Follow Needmore a little over 3 miles and turn right on Old Poplar Rd after several chicken farm buildings. After turning right on Old Poplar Rd we are the 1st driveway on the right
